Sign-up for new beginners courses

We are excited to announce that Chessington Bowmen are increasing the number of beginners courses due to increased demand.

Our beginners courses consist of 3 x 2hour sessions and are open to anyone over the age of ten who’s keen to become an archer.

You’ll have fun whilst learning about technique, the equipment, fitness, and shooting with and without sights. You’ll be guided by coaches and experienced club archers at either our indoor, or outdoor ranges. You will get to use club bows, and all the necessary kit throughout the course.

Courses are £75 (this includes a non-refundable £15 deposit to reserve a place), payable in advance, and spaces are limited so check out our Beginners page and register your interest via the sign-up form, and we’ll get back to you.

Indoor dates confirmed are:

Wednesdays 23rd, 30th October and 6th November 2024
Wednesdays 8th, 15th, and 22nd January 2025

Outdoor dates for next year are unconfirmed and serve only as a guide:

Saturdays end of March - beginning of April 2025

Saturdays end of June - beginning of July 2025
